Believe in recovery: Sober living facility opens in Lowell, honoring former resident

In addition, Martha was a member of the Andona Society and is an advocate for the Monastery of Poor Claire. For the past 14 years, she has worked in the field of Special Education at Wood Hill Middle School. In her spare time, Alison enjoys being active by running and hiking, traveling, and photography. Most importantly, she loves to spend quality time with her Husband, family and friends. Just some of these include the Bike Connector, Merrimack Valley Food Bank, The Wish Project, Catholic Charities, The Kristy Williams Memorial Foundation, and Toys for Local Children. She also works with several homeless shelters and rehab facilities, with the understanding that providing financial guidance is a significant part of their journey to stability and long-term recovery.

  3. Beginning in 2012 Pamela transitioned to the External Affairs division to work collaboratively with the VP of External Affairs, Philanthropy and Marketing.

In 2023 Kim returned to a career in the public school system as a School Adjustment Councilor. MaryBeth was born and raised in Boston and now lives in Haverhill, MA with her many pets. In her “spare” time, MaryBeth loves to relax at the beach and watch the Patriots. Outside of work, Tanya is passionate about many things including yoga, interior design, gardening, self-improvement and mental health awareness.

In 2016, I had my second child and made the decision to stay home while he was young; I am in the process of receiving my Masters of Social Work with a concentration in substance use disorders. The field of substance use has been a strong passion of mine, as well as working with young women to help them succeed and show them anything is possible as people did for me. She started her career within the Arlington Public School system as a paraprofessional in a special education classroom. In 2002, she began working at a homeless family shelter, and it was there Granada House Review she realized she wanted to pursue a career in mental health. In 2010, Kim graduated from Cambridge College with a Master of Ed all while raising her three amazing sons. She received her LMHC in 2012 and in 2015 became the Clinical Director at The Megan House working with young women who suffer from substance use disorder.

She plans on continuing her work on the events team with her new role on the board. Louise is a strong advocate for education, support, recovery and treatment. It offers undergraduate and graduate programs including Online and Continuing Education programs. We are proud to offer a men’s sober living home with structure and stability.

After hearing former NBA player, Chris Herren speak about his recovery at her local high school in 2013, she decided to help raise funds for treatment navigation by running her first every 5k. In addition, she has served on the Board of Westford Against Substance Abuse from 2017 to present. Sober living homes in Massachusetts are certified by MASH, the Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing.

As a corporator for the Lowell Boys & Girls Club she has co-chaired their Holiday Auction for two years and has served on the golf committee five years. Pamela is a past Board member of the Westford Business Association and past Chair of the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce. She served three years as co-chair of SEGL part of the United Way, which raises money for local non-profit organizations so that children of Greater Lowell can enjoy a safe summer of fun, learning, and employment.
